Franck has been involved in Hackfest since 2012. After encountering the Brain virus in 1986, he never gave up hacking, malware, development, and above all, his curiosity and thirst for learning every day. His favorite hunting ground has always been Windows and the Microsoft ecosystem. Now focused on “Full Cloud Security” in the rainbow team, he has specialized entirely in Azure and M365, while keeping the other two public clouds close at hand. He is known for his famous track of infected VMs, PhenixCorp, his DarkPhenix challenge at the pro pre-qualifiers in 2019, numerous static challenges such as ReverseMe, CrackMe, RussianDoll, and finally his famous Phenix2Kill. He has been the team lead of the Hackfest CTF designers since 2018 and has been a member of the committee since 2017. His main goal is to democratize the CTF as much as possible, particularly in companies, so that it is recognized as an inexhaustible source of daily learning, an investment, and a permanent educational tool.
